Solid content, good for first-timers

Did the bowhunter ed course before my first elk hunt. Loved the shot-placement modules — that alone was worth it. Only knock is I wish there were more video demos for tree-stand setup, but the safety section was thorough.

Great for adults coming back to the sport

Picked up bowhunting again at 38 and needed the cert for Montana. The course didn't talk down to me and the regulations section was state-specific and accurate. Passed the final on the first try.

Our verdict

For first-time bowhunters or anyone needing a bowhunter education card for a new state, Recademics covers the required material well — particularly the shot placement section, which reviewers call out as the most valuable part. A solid choice for hunters who want a certificate without sitting through a weekend class.
